Dream Flights is dedicated to honoring military veterans and seniors with the adventure of a lifetime: a flight in a Boeing Stearman biplane. As we make these heroes wishes come true, our Dream Flights inspire them to share their stories. We collect, preserve and share those stories of how they survived through times of great strife to remind us of our shared humanity, our connection to each other and the value of listening. Our Dream Flights close the generation gap and open us up to a clearer understanding of ourselves and our world.
It is with extreme sadness…
that we share with you the news that the patriarch of our foundation, the original Dream Flight Donor and the one who was there with his son Darryl for the very first Dream Flight experience, William Fisher passed away. Without Bill, Dream Flights would not exist. He loved this foundation and our mission with all of his heart and was extremely generous, even giving his own Stearman biplane to Dream Flights so that it could be used to bring joy to others. Bill, we are so grateful for the legacy you left and we hope that we can continue to fulfill the mission faithfully in your honor.
