Only the finest pilots have the privilege of honoring our seniors and military veterans with Dream Flights.

 At the Dream Flights University, they hone their skills and prepare for our annual mission of Giving Back to Those Who Gave.

Safety is always our number one priority.

Dream Flights Pilots are volunteers and they primarily fly for major airlines and/or are active duty or retired military veterans themselves. They participate year-round in training at the Dream Flights University, led by “Professor” Darren Bond, a volunteer Dream Flights pilot, instructor, and Southwest Airlines pilot.

Located just outside Military City USA®! Dream Flights University is located at Castroville Municipal Airport in Castroville, Texas, just outside San Antonio, the official Military City, USA. Members of the “Tex” Hill Commemorative Air Force Wing – San Antonio serve onsite as volunteers.

Our Dream Flight Pilots

Our volunteer Dream Flights pilots are active duty or retired military veterans themselves and many fly for or have retired from major airlines, including American Airlines – a Dream Flights sponsor – Southwest, and United Airlines. All have banded together for one mission: honor our seniors and veterans with flights of a lifetime in iconic, WWII-era Stearman biplanes
